Adani Enterprises Limited, earlier known as Adani Associates, had gained immense recognition and goodwill among the companies who dealt with Adani for the raw materials. All of them were of the opinion that Adani acquired prestige with the importers and they trusted him with their money, as he unfailingly met his commitments irrespective of how the prices behaved in the market. Mr. Gautam Adani and Mr. Rajesh Adani managed the firm with utmost dedication and enthusiasm.
The businesses that often bought raw materials from plastics from Adani in those days never faced any regret or lose due to the timely delivery and best quality service. The dealers regarded Mr. Gautam Adani’s ability to bet big as the key factor that accelerated the growth of the group’s flagship company, Adani Exports over the years. Mr. Rajesh Adani who has been associated with the firm since its inception has also built strong business relationship for the betterment of the company.
Under the leadership of Mr. Gautam Adani and Mr. Rajesh Adani, Adani decided to widen the trading net, renaming his company Adani Exports. This was then when the Indian Government gave 100 percent tax exemption on earnings from exports in 1988-89.
